Mark's already got the majority of points covered in how this weekend has been, so I'll just cover the review of the gig. He missed out that we're not sure if we'll get charged for entering the "Low Emissions Zone" in order to get to Stanmore tube station, though should be fine really, my car is low on CO2. We'll see. He also didn't mention the adverts that ran around on the screens at the venue, mostly for upcoming gigs, including one for Michael Jackson, which said "SOLD OUT!!" along with:
( "This Is It!" )
Anyway. Short version: Absolutely awesome show, definitely a band I would go to see again and would recommend others to go see.

I promised this recipe to
endis_ni a while ago, but since Mum made the Christmas Cake today, it reminded me.
Auntie Mary's Christmas Cake (modified by my mum) Auntie Mary is in fact not related to me, but was a friend of Dad's family when they lived in Pontefract.
( The Recipe )
I am now off to babysit Emily. Tips on how to make mini Christmas Puddings, or other Christmassy type biscuits / small cakes, gratefully received. Also cake icon.

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act. -- Barbara Allen
